Product Description
Features Extends a standard warranty one-year for hardware support. On site Service Next Business Day Response Covers defects in materials and workmanship Renewable up to a maximum of five (5) years During the extended warranty period, Konica Minolta's Service provider will either repair or replace products that prove to be defective. Extended Warranty Service must be purchased during the original manufacturer limited product warranty period. Service will be scheduled during normal business hours (US: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, Canada: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm) at your convenience. Exclusions to On-Site Warranties The warranty of our products does not apply to defects that result from any of the following: Improper site preparation Usage of non supported print media Improper or inadequate maintenance by customer Use of customer supplied software or interfaces Unauthorized modification or service Operation outside of the environmental specifications for the printer Duty cycle abuse Use of non-Konica Minolta consumables Normal wear and tear Note: Consumables are not included in the service contract. Notes: Operating the printer beyond the limit of its monthly duty cycle will be regarded as duty cycle abuse and any repairs related to excessive use will be billed current time and materials rates. The use of non-Konica Minolta consumables will not, by itself, affect your warranty. If a failure or damage to the printer is found to be directly attributable to the use of non-Konica Minolta consumables or supplies, Konica Minolta will not repair the printer without charge. Charges will apply to any repairs required for that particular failure or damage. Extended warranties can be purchased and renewed as long as the printer is currently under an existing warranty period and can be extended to a maximum of five years from printer purchase. Limitations This warranty as herein set forth is exclusive and no other warranty, written or oral is expressed or implied. Konica Minolta specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose.
